About the conference
Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a conference for girls in grades 5-10. This day-long event will include hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). At the conference, you will get a chance to meet women role models and learn more about how they chose a career in one of the many different STEM fields. You'll get to visit the United States Naval Postgraduate School and explore exciting careers such as aerospace engineering, systems engineering, medicine, physical science, naval intelligence, cyber security and other possible occupations for civilian and military women in the Navy. |

Sample student workshops
Don't Break the Law! - a fluid that defies Isaac Newton's law of viscosity. Participants will get to play with some ooey, gooey, glop...or is it?!
