Frequently asked questions
1. Is food provided? Yes, breakfast will consist of muffins, bagels, pastries, and donuts. Coffee, juice, tea, and water will also be served. Lunch will be provided by JMU Dining Services. 2. What happens if I cannot make the conference after applying? If you find out that your daughter/student can no longer make the conference after applying, please contact eyh@math.jmu.edu and let them know that your daughter/student can no longer attend.

3. Is there a registration fee? Yes. There is a small registration fee to cover expenses. The student fee is X and the adult fee is X. We thank our sponsors for the ability to do this. 4. Where do I register? Registration is done online by clicking the link to the left. Note that registration will open in X. You can also download the brochure and send in the registration form to the address on the form. Student participants must also either send a completed Release Form to (include email address) or mail it in to the address on the form. 5. How are the workshops for my daughter assigned? Efforts are made to try to accommodate your daughter's/student's workshop preferences, and most participants get their top choices. But please realize that we have to accommodate many girls, so your daughter/student may be placed in a workshop that she may not have signed up for. And, she may discover a previously unknown interest in one of these workshops! 6. Can I request that my daughter/student be assigned to the same workshops as her friend? No, we do not honor requests to match girls with their friends. This conference is a great opportunity for the participants to meet girls from other schools and make new friends. Your daughter/student will be able to catch up with her friends during lunch or at the keynote address. 7. What if my daughter/student cannot attend the entire conference? Your daughter/student may attend as much as the conference as possible. Please indicate on your application form which workshop sessions your daughter/student will be attending. 8. When will my daughter/student know which workshops she will be attending? She will find out on the day of the conference. 9. Will I be able to participate in my daughter's/student's workshops? No. All student workshops are only open to students. Adults may attend adult focused workshops. 10. What grades are invited to participate in EYH? We invite all girls in grades X
